About this product
The Callaway XR 19° 3 hybrid features a Project X 6.0 stiff graphite shaft and a new Golf Pride MCC +4 grip. It's a right-handed club designed as a long-iron replacement, offering a high launch and forgiveness for mid- to high-handicap players.
Our take
This XR hybrid is a steal at $37. The 19° loft replaces a 3-iron nicely, launching high and landing soft. The Project X 6.0 stiff shaft is responsive without feeling boardy, and the new MCC +4 grip is a nice bonus – it's tacky and reduces grip pressure. The head is forgiving, helping me keep shots straight even on less-than-perfect strikes. No complaints for the price, but note it's an older model, so you might find newer hybrids with more adjustability. Still, for a reliable, ready-to-play club, it's hard to beat.
