Our take
I installed this Project X wedge shaft in my gap wedge, and the low launch is immediately noticeable. The X-stiff flex gives me the control I want on partial shots and dialed-in distance. At 125g, it feels substantial without being too heavy—good stability through impact. The .355 tip fit perfectly into my wedge head. That said, if you prefer a softer feel or higher trajectory, this isn't for you. It's very much a player's shaft. Also, being a dedicated wedge shaft, it's not versatile for other clubs. But for wedge-specific performance, it delivers exactly what's promised.
